Hey man, completely unrelated you asked me about my guitar tone. I was so unsatisfied with line-in... so I got a Behringer UB802 mixer and a Shure SM57 mic, and positioned just right in front of my amp... it sounds 50x better.
To be related, good luck with distractions. And, get you a full package not a trial! Trials stink... I would know. =P
